Bloomington residents may book and/or attend events regardless of monetary donations. 

Though some events ask for a donation for the touring artists and performers, we've decided against charging admission prices or hanging fees.

Excess operates on a subscription model. Each subscription, a small monthly financial contribution, is tied to some sort of regular use of the space.

Because our project goes beyond the collective and toward the collaborative,

we hope more and small various uses of the space will bring about more spontaneous uses.
